Allen’s pragmatic approach to the creative process and filmmaking is forged from nearly a decade of experience in the business. Allen's career began in front of the camera. He studied with some of the most respected coaches in the industry, and most recently worked on projects for Anchor Bay and Lionsgate. His focus shifted in 2010 with an opportunity to move into production, production management and development with Siren Studio's Managing Partner, Craig Chapman (Chef, Machine Gun Preacher). Allen and Drama Free Zone founder Scott Robinson met while working on an indie horror/thriller, The Culling where they quickly discovered they share a similar passion and sensible approach to making movies. Allen’s move to join with Drama Free Zone, brings additional production management experience to the process and also a depth of resources and ability to find, develop, manage and create great projects.
